Mount Shasta. Out of every three climbers who attempt the summit, only one reaches it. But not before conquering the Misery Hill, which is described as a false summit. You think you have climbed to the top of Shasta only to realize you are yet to complete the most difficult stage. This is what I read at a vista point today. It made me think about my present journey and many parallel situations in life. From a distance the mountain looks like a heap of powdered sugar – to those who are not climbing it.
