The second movement of the harpsichord concerto is now in its final stages. Here I am checking the form for possible structural flaws. In my book, symmetry is always better than lack thereof. This simple chart helped me pinpoint why the middle section was not flowing the way I envisioned. There is still much polishing ahead but I see the double bar line at the end of the tunnel. The third, and now the second movement nearly behind me, there still remains the first movement to compose. I expect it to be the hardest one of all three.
