Reflections on Art and Life
I cannot go to Washington state right now, but my painting “Ebb and Flow” just embarked on a journey to meet its patron there. I send out my artwork into the world, hoping that it will bring beauty, reflection, and inspiration to those who receive it. But once it’s out of my hands, I feel that it takes on a life of its own. It will interact with people I will never meet and will be immersed in a new environment. Will it become a part of someone’s story? A turning point? A memory? A comfort? A challenge? I am at peace not knowing. The art has a purpose, a mission beyond me, and I am willing to let it go to accomplish it. Safe travels!
