By all calculations I should not have a good day. Yet I woke up with a renewed strength and a desire to face obstacles on my path to creativity. Give me a flicker of hope, just a faint light at the end of the tunnel and I will continue to work hard and believe. But if there is no light and no vision for tomorrow, next week, or next year, then all is lost. I read once that depression is inability to imagine the future. Let us pass on that flicker to one another and continue to imagine artful and beautiful reality we want to be a part of. Let us be daring, unorthodox, inventing, unpredictable, and courageous. Because, frankly, the alternative is bleak.
