No matter how hard I try, I can’t get away from color. I have to restrain myself not to turn the saturation all the way up. I think I know the reason for this color hunger. I grew up in the last decades of socialism in Poland, and everywhere I turned, the obligatory color was grey, or brown, or some variation of depressing dirt. Things are much different now in my home country, but the subconscious longing for color remains in my psyche. Do we ever grow out our growing up years?
