I would like to share with you a video of a recent performance by Steve Loew and Daniel Weiser in a house concert in Arden, NC where they presented my Two Moods for Clarinet and Piano. The first movement, Haunted, illustrates an eerie, suspenseful feeling, intertwined with passages of sheer panic and terror. Here I wanted to recall and confront my childhood fear of being left alone in the dark.
Score and parts are available for purchase here.
Simply marvelous Dosia. I really enjoyed this. It immediately took me back to several concert performances by Relache Philadelphia Ensemble For Contemporary Music (I highly recommend you check them out). This piece is so well written when considering the theme you wanted to capture. Both instruments were well suited for the intimacy of the mood. I am glad to know your work will always enlightened me. I hope you don’t mind if I re-blog this.
Peace and Light.
Thank you for listening Walter. I will post the second movement (Wind Chimes) in a couple of days. And thank you for letting me know about the Relache Philadelphia Ensemble. I will check them out.

This is an exceptional piece written by Dosia Mckay for clarinet and piano. It is entitled: Two Moods for Clarinet and Piano
Love those minor keys and pensive rhythms.
Thank you for listening Linda.
