Reflections on Art and Life

Das Wohltemperierte Klavier

I will not be still
In the presence of eternity
Breathing into a fleeting moment
Blessed be the pleasures of the mind
The symmetry of the Universe
And the anticipation of a kiss
Of the immaculate conception
Oh, what is a frail human
To command the world
To resonate in concentric circles
To govern the ebb and flow of the soul
Everblooming overflowing
Effervescent lifesprings
Of invisible colors of ordered coincidences
Blessed be the loneliness of the hand that painted
Blessed be the longing of the hand that dances

    Such beautiful words…….and powerful image.

The lady is as gifted with her thoughts as she is with her vision….

Hey Dosia, sorry it took me so long. Cool site.

I love the first two lines especially. They remind me of your artwork; I can see you there in my mind’s eye, at work with light, not-being-still in the presence of eternity, which I suppose transcends both stillness and movement.

    Endlessly
