Reflections on Art and Life

Dirty Old Men

Dirty old men lick their fingers
When they eat gristly chicken
They spit out the bones
Of buy one get one free virgins
The meat is enhanced
With a saline solution
Coated in bleached and enriched flour
The cleavages are on sale on Fridays
The midriffs are free just for the asking
The thighs glisten and flex
Ignorant of the mysteries of a skirt
Would you like to supersize it, sir?

Dirty old men are secretly wishing
For a salad of intriguing herbs and spices
Sprinkled with patiently ripened cheese
And a bottle of red wine with the cork still unopened
The shining armour is in a box in the basement
Next to the old-fashioned cookbooks
That call for careful measurement of fresh ingredients
Will that be all for you, sir?

….I have heard that people do generally make love the way they eat

I dig the imagery….I kept seeing Aqualung! But then he is the poster child for dirty old men..

I throw it right back at ya, what do you consider your best work?
